These photos are in the December album as well, but I thought I would pull out a few to highlight some of our trip back home (for me). Uncle Dave who has become an incredible climber and moonlights as an instructor to feed his passion. He got all of us up on the climbing wall for some fun. Izzy by far was amazing and had no fear and made it to the top over and over.
Will went up twice and made it half way. All the kids had a blast and really challenged themselves. Jett cheered on his fellow friends but will have to try it next time without his cast. The best part for the kids was to see mom and dad hitched up and trying their best to top the fellow 5 year old beating us. The best part was rapelling back down (mom did it almost upside down).
A good indoor soccer match!
Scott, Grandma and I took the kids(poor Olivia was sick)to the Newport Aquarium. This picture was taken under the large shark. As you can see, Jett is in dad's arms- scared of all things dark, snake like and maybe this museum was not a good choice for him. Since his cousins had been before they "warned" him that there were some snakes- thats all we needed- he screamed his way through the whole museum- which we raced through and probably set a record for museum dash. We were able to slow down in the ocean part with the tunnel through the aquarium.
Owen feeling the sharks and rays.
The daring part was taking them all for lunch- it was soooo much fun! Burgers and shakes and as many straws as we needed made for a great way to wait for our food.
