Will made his First Communion. Grandma Sue made the trip in for the special mass that included his school and the Religious Ed- probably about 75 kids made their First Communion and it was beautiful. Good pics on our really nice camera to come- but these are the ones after mass. Will was actually pretty nervous and complained of a stomach ach- but thankfully by the time the mass started he was ok. Unfortunately, one kid had to be taken out and didn't make it- poor guy.
I just love this picture and think it is just so great of Scott and Will. I can not believe that my baby is now 8 and has made his first communion and reconcilitation this year. FYI- the next one is confirmation in hight school. Please slow down time!!
Will is proud of his achievement but reminds us that he has "5 words for communion- I don't like the wine!". Good- keep that drinking low key!
Will and grandma Sue
We are so pround of you Will!
We finished the morning with a delicious cake and pizza from Will's favorite place. Although not a traditional way to celebrate communion- it fit with our family and the joys of my son. I pray that this step is one of many in your faith journey and that you turn to the Lord in all things in your life and are guided by his teachings and love.
