Being that we has been here a month and had not journeyed to one of Virginia's vineyards- we thought we would give it a try. They are all so open and family oriented we thought we could find a picnic table and with snacks in hand we could make it work. Shortly after we had our glasses in hand, a woman came over with juice boxes and more snacks for the boys. We chatted for a bit and commisserated over our other "homes" not selling in Florida. She so kindly took our picture and as I read the brouchure realized she was one of the owners and lived in the "big house" mansion on the other side of the property. She is one of the Schornbergs and was the warmest most down to earth person that wanted to make our family feel at home. Did you know they actually have a patio with crayons for the kids to hang out while the old folks relax? The wine was excellent and rivaled any of our beloved Napa versions. We will be back!
