Monday brought day 2 of pouring rain. It would continue to POUR until Thursday. Unfortunately, when Grandma and Grandpa got here all they could do was to stay inside and visit with us- but we really loved it! We have all missed them so much- most of anyone! Having them in our home was something we all needed. I took the boys out of school early and they couldn't wait to show them there new Halloween costumes. (I scored 6 costumes at a big church consignment sale for $20!) They all sat down to play their Lego Harry Potter game and were a good sport as Will filled them in on the rules as they went.
Before dinner Grandma orchestrated some craft time with the kiddos. Still haven't found all the craft stuff- but needed it with the rain!
Grandpa orchestrated a nap! The little jokers were out in force (and new costumes).
Ice cream time! (Of course dinner is always a bit chaotic and included a nice vomit from Jett who choked on his broccoli- sorry Grandpa!)
