First Reconcilliation

As I have a second grader this is a big year for him at church.  He participated in his second sacrament- Reconcilliation (Confession) in preparation for his First Communion in the Spring.  We were both nervous and it really pushes your parenthood to discuss sin, confession, forgiveness and contrition.  Another little boy we knew was so awesome to jump right up and be the first to go and WIll and I were able to peek around the corner and see him in the chair.  He saw Father Stephen, a very kind and soft spoken priest.  Will needed a bit of encouragement and was reassured as I was right outside the door- but of course unable to hear!  I do wonder what these kiddos say and I would have loved to be a fly on that wall!
In any wonder of it all- afterwards we went to pray and do our penance- which for Will was to say a prayer for his family.
Can I tell you what- within an hour of being home our Rental agent called us and said that she had a contract and folks wanted to rent our house and move in next week.  Scott and I were speechless.  My Nana always told me that God answers and hears every prayer of a child- and does he ever!
Having the house rented was the biggest relief ever.  It covers nearly all of our expenses of owning the home and will just give us the time and space to take a break from the market.
This did mark the beginning of a really overwhelming week as we arranged emptying our finest things that we had left for staging in one week, while Scott had to travel to Ohio for the entire week and that evening we had Jett's birthday party and as you know that ended with a broken elbow.
