Charlottesville had a wonderful gingerbread house competition. We all went down to check them out and vote on our favorite. As a surprise, Santa was there as well. To let you know- my children have NEVER sat on Santa's lap. They have alwasys been fearful and I have never pushed the issue. Well this Santa was so friendly, they were able to stand vs sitting on his lap and the biggest part- he had a beautiful bin of large homeade cookies if you participated. Owen will do pretty much anything for a cookie so he was first in line. Will my oldest was super bummed he didn't get a cookie but he just couldn't bring himself to get near to the man in the suit.
